It is my privilege to be the Tumuaki of Mt Cook School and to be part of such a strong, vibrant, and connected community.

At Mt Cook School, we believe education is about nurturing the whole child. We are committed to providing a wide range of meaningful learning experiences that enable every ākonga to discover their strengths, explore their interests, and reach their potential.

Our goal is to create a place where every child and every whānau feels connected, valued, heard, and has a true sense of belonging. We celebrate the diversity of our community and believe that our many cultures, languages, and experiences make our school stronger.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to our school vision and values. We are a community where belonging, curiosity, and creativity are celebrated. Our values of Waewae Kai Kapua, Mana Tamariki, Manaakitanga, and Auahatanga guide our learning, our relationships, and the way we work together every day.
