How to Help
The Ministry of Education funds our specialist teaching staff and the bus transport for our schools to and from the Centre.
We try to keep our food and materials costs to a minimum, but if you would like to help us out, we would really appreciate funds towards updating our equipment, such as robots, computers, cookware, sewing machines and fabrication machinery.
Technology is constantly evolving at such a rapid pace and we really like to adapt our programmes as such too. Whenever we look at updating these resources, we have to apply for grants or conduct fundraising.
If you are in the position to do so, you could help us in one of the following ways:
Apply for grants on our behalf (please email techcentre@mtcook.school.nz if you would like to do this)
Make a donation to our school bank account, with “Tech Centre Donation” as the reference. Our bank account details are:
Donate a specific item to us (please see some things we are looking at getting below)
If you do decide to help in one of the ways listed above, please email techcentre@mtcook.school.nz
We really appreciate our community in helping us to provide Year 7 and 8 tamariki with enriching Technology education.
